Most everyone has wanted to lose a few pounds or maybe more in their lifetime. There are many obstacles that keep people from staying at their desired weight. It can be anything from ice cream and cookies to pasta and pizza. There has to be a healthy approach and an approach that doesn't include yoyo dieting. A lot of times people slip up and have that big bowl of ice cream. It's not going to kill you right. It's just going to put you off track and off the scale. You should have some type of exercise program even if you walk just a couple times a week. I only work out twice a week on the weekends because I'm too lazy to go to the gym either before or after work. A lot of people eat when they are bored. Instead of grabbing that cookie or chips, grab a glass of water. It takes will power, but you can do it. Losing the weight is not the hard part. Keeping it off and maintaining your goal weight is what's difficult. I gained 25 lbs. because I went from a physical job to a desk job. I went up a pant size, but I feel comfortable where I am. I am a little heavier than before, but I am happy just to maintain where I am which is what I am doing. It's all about being happy where you are. Take a look at website. There may be something there to help you lose a few pounds or just to stay healthy. Don't eat as much as you would like too. Sound simple, but don't pig out. I only go to the gym twice a week, but I ride the bike for a half hour and do weights for about another hour or so. Then I hit the steam room. I don't eat breakfast, but the experts say you should because it keeps your metabolism going. There are a lot of supplements on the market. If you eat healthy and include a supplement there should be no problem. It's when you start taking pills and don't eat right when problems arise. What do I way? 195 lbs and I used to way 170lbs. I have gained more muscle and I have gained a little bit in my stomach too. Maybe you don't like going to the gym. Go for a walk around the block and get some fresh air. Every little thing helps get the blood flowing and helps with losing calories. Try riding a bike a couple times a week. I know some of you have heard all this before, but you have to have some kind of exercise program in order to be successful. Well, maybe I shouldn't say that. I don't know anyone who doesn't do some sort of exercising to keep the pounds off. If you have an elavator at work, take the stairs instead.
