Using Your Smell and Taste to Find Your Vitamin Deficiencies!

How EXACTLY do you know which Vitamins & Minerals you need to take on a daily basis?

This is the question that was plaguing me for many years. How exactly do I know what I need to be taking? And for that matter, how does anyone know which vitamin, mineral or supplement we should be taking?

If you are like me, you value your health. You may have a special place you like to shop for supplements or you get some catalogs with supplements and vitamins sent to you. You may also have a grocery store that you use to pick up a specific supplement that you've run out of.

So the question here is how do we know what we need to take?

I spent a lot of time trying different supplements, because after all, trying different things is a good way to determine if you need it or not.

The other route was expensive, but I did it also…getting a blood test (around $300-$400) to have all of my vitamins and minerals checked to see my deficiencies.

Blood tests are great because you find out exactly where your levels are. On the other hand, what I didn't realize (until this past year) is that human body chemistry changes DAILY! So one day your body might be out of a specific vitamin or mineral and the next day it's not.

You could change your diet, if you knew what to eat and could help yourself remain free of deficiencies. Of course, most of our food these days is devoid of many minerals and vitamins. Fortified foods can actually create an imbalance, which can be just as stressful on your body as a deficiency!

Of course, some deficiencies are so bad that you can't eat your way out of them!

I'm no stranger to anemia. I also had a chronic problem with B vitamins (specifically B12). The problem was so bad at one point I began giving myself B12 shots. My grandfather, at 96 and a retired physician, used to give me B12 shots during holidays or visits to this house. In his 90's he could STILL give a shot better then any other doctor I've ever had! So I had him teach me how to give them myself.

Even though this could remedy the situation, I hated having to stick myself with a needle. Even more perplexing was the fact that even if I routinely took B12 and tried to special diet my way out of the deficiency, it always seemed to be a nuisance.

This is my specific body chemistry. And your specific body chemistry might need some other supplement to keep it in peak condition.

So how exactly did I find a solution to this problem?

Knowing that one day I might need a certain supplement, the next day I might not and everyday that goes by that I'm not giving my body the proper balance is extra stress on key metabolic functions that keep me healthy…and when not properly balanced over a period time, this usually results in disease of one type or another.

What I just described goes for EVERYONE. You're not immune to this situation. I repeat, it goes for all human beings.

I guess I got lucky. I searched everywhere to figure this out, all the while keeping up with my blood tests regularly and going on "hunches" in the vitamin aisles at "Whole Foods" - trying all the new supplements, vitamins and minerals.

But I stumbled upon the book written by Dr. Lendon H. Smith M.D, entitled, Feed Your Body Right!

I read the book because it intrigued me. The subtitled said "Understanding Your Individual Body Chemistry for Proper Nutrition without the Guesswork."

This very well known doctor treated children with ADD by just giving them the proper vitamins and he had amazing success. He also treated scores of other individuals with terrible diseases by making sure they were getting the proper ratio of vitamins and minerals.

Dr. Smith then raves about this John Kitkoski, a chemist and well known researcher who developed a vitamin, mineral and electrolyte program that uses a person's unique sense of smell and taste coupled with vitamins, minerals and electrolytes that are all smell and taste sensitive.

All these people were having success using this vitamin, mineral and electrolyte kit to taste and smell their way to the perfect balance! I was so intrigued I had to know more.

So I purchased the kit and was dumbfounded. It was absolutely the best "health" product I had ever used in my entire life and I'm known for scouring the earth to find the best stuff out there!

What got me is that the kit contains the absolute essentials that humans need to function. This meant that I didn't have to keep getting unnecessary supplements. All I had to do it stay balanced with my kit.

* I still look for good products because I know some products are truly beneficial for certain types of people, but EVERYONE needs the essentials. Our bodies demand it.

I've been using the full kit (Vitamins, Minerals and Electrolytes) for over a year now and I no longer have to worry about anemia, taking B12 shots or being deficient or having excessive amounts of vitamins in my system.

I've also beaten Lyme's disease and Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever (just recently), Epstein Barr Virus (Mononucleosis), Anemia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Allergies (Cat and Pollen), and a serious Auto Immune Disorder, Hypothyroidism, IBS, Leaky Gut and Candida.

I thought many times in my life that I would be sick forever (and at one time I thought I was going to die). Now, I am amazed at how "easy" it is to heal the body, to have fantastic energy, and live like we are supposed to live. I don't even have allergies anymore. It just goes to show you that your body just needs the right instruments to heal itself.

Cover your basics now, like getting the proper essential vitamins, minerals and electrolytes in the right balance and go from there.

I strongly suggest you try our Smell Sensitive Vitamins and Taste Sensitive Minerals and Electrolytes created by John Kitkoski.

And if you want a really good read, get Dr. Lendon Smith's, Feed Your Body Right!
